Vision Expo's third OPTImum Retail Award, an annual award celebrating independent retailers, awarded Gogosha Optique (Los Angeles, CA) on April 7, 2020 in Las Vegas.
Created in 2016, the award showcases retailers' products, stores, visions and stories, as well as, recognize their accomplishments. Gogosha Optique, after defeating other finalists through judges' votes cast last Feb. 27-March 9, will be featured in 20/20 Magazine's spring issue.
"This OPTImum Retail award recognizes the efforts of many, the sacrifices of few, and the vision of one. I'm excited to be able to celebrate and share this award with my team, peers and colleagues, when we can all be together again. Until then, vision is essential to all that we do. Thank you for recognizing mine," said Julia Gogosha, owner of Gogosha Optique.
Gogosha Optique, which opened in 2008, represents independent and handmade heritage brands, as well as, products created through in-house edging and customizing. It has pioneered brands such as Jacques Marie Mage, Sabine Be, Bruno Chaussignand, Kuboraum, Masahiro Marayuma, Ahlem and Rigards.
The contest's committee consists of the industry's top leaders including James Spina, 20/20 Magazine editor-in-chief and senior vice president. The celebration will take place at Vision Expo West 2020 on Sept. 23-26.
