Global Myopia Centre’s website gets an update

rfid Brien Holden Vision Institute has recently unveiled the refreshed online Global Myopia Centre to aid web visitors in their search for information on the prevalence of myopia and its impact on the global population. It currently dons a makeover vis-a-vis a revamped user-friendly navigation, in addition to a variety of new features, editorials, infographics, white papers, and academic blogs.

“We are delighted to launch the new Global Myopia Centre to the eye care profession – and the community – during Myopia Awareness Week 2019. The website, which is equipped with dynamic user interface and downloading capabilities, allows visitors to access resources on myopia research, innovation, education, and advocacy efforts worldwide, with data collated from experts and specialists from all corners of the globe. The platform also offers a variety of handy and free tools, such as Brien Holden Vision Institute’s Myopia Guidelines and Myopia Calculator, designed to assist practitioners, as well as, ECPs who steers their practice toward myopia management.
